My original post goes over a squeaking noise and my failed attempt to fix it the first time. I replaced the belt, bearings, top part of the door and pulley. I had it operational but a high pitched squeaking ensued.
So, I went ahead and ordered the replacement rear bearing set, and painfully, 3 hours later, the dryer is all put together. I plugged it in and opened the door.
No light. Tried turning the dryer on. Nothing.
What did I do?
Sadly, when I first pulled the dryer out of this corner to make it accessible in the least, I had pulled the dryer taught and there was a spark near the back of the dryer by the end of the cord. I unplugged it and went to work.
Do you think the electrical is blown? Did I simply not plug everything in internally?
What are my next steps? Am I out of luck?
