GE ice/water dispenser not working

My water/ice dispense will not dispense anything. When you push the dispenser lever the light goes dim and the compressor turns off and nothing comes out. After two seconds the compressor will come back on. The refrigerator still makes ice just fine, it just will not dispense it or water? From what I have read it could sounds like a bad main board? What about a dispenser switch? I hate to start ordering parts with out really knowing which part is bad. The main board on the GE site is $183:confused:

Net and Ground? You mean unplug and replug the refrigerator?

check your wall outlit. some were an net or ground is open, your outlit or on your refg.
