The light switch on the fridge side of my GE profile performance refrig erator seems to have failed. If I jiggle it enough, the bulb may temporarily light, but it soon reverts to its old ways. Maybe I just have a bad connection at the switch. In either case, how does one remove the switch? With a butter knife I’ve been able to pry the switch out a quarter of an inch or so on one side, but it’s just not popping out. I’m worried about damaging the plastic on the door surrounding the switch if I pry too aggressively. Is there another way at the switch? Or a better technique for prying it out?
