Hello everyone, I am so glad I found this web site as I am not sure what to do next.
Our GE microwave is running but there is no heat. Upon searching I learned parts that go bad first are magnetron & diode, so I ordered parts to see if it fixes the problem. Unfortunately, new parts did not fix the problem. As a next step, I ordered a new capacitor, which should arrive tomorrow.
I did test for resistance on fuse on magnetron and it read, "0.00", so I know there is continuity. I found total 3 fuses inside, but there is one that reads, "NT101 KIE". This one read "1" on ohms meter while other 2 read, "0.00".
I am not sure if this part is fuse or thermostat. If it’s thermostat is it supposed to read 0.00 or 1 (no continuity)?
What would be the best way to tell if it’s fuse or thermostat?
This is part that shows no continuity.
Thank you,
