my GE side by side front touch pad(water,ice,light etc) and temperature setting pad(freezer,fridge temperature etc) are not working.

my friend an electrical knowledgeable, told me to buy the main board card and that did not solve the problem, then told me to buy the front pad touch card (water, ice , light etc buttoms) and that did not solve the problems either.

with those two parts being replaced my refrigerator cool,freezed,make ice,like before, however I can not change temperature, get water nor turn the outside small ice-water dispencer light.

please need help!!
