The above Model # is for the old timer. The old part # is WB19X5231 being replaced with new one # WB19X10006 from Appliance Parts Pros. The red wires move to the new timer in the same position as the old. The instructions say to move the white wires L2 from position 4 on the old to position 3 on the new. They also say to move Output 2 from position 3 to 4 on the new timer. There are no output wires in position 3 on the old timer. I want to make sure that the white wires L2 are to be moved to L2 on the new timer, eventhough they are in different positions. Also the diagram shows the Common (N) to be in position 5 on the old timer but there is no wire in that position. Does position 5 - Neutral, become the ground to the metal retainer on the new timer? I don’t want to turn the power on and ruin the new timer. Please help.
