There are 3 plastic tabs that the centrifugal switch rests on when stopped (spring loaded). In my case (and likely most cases) one of the tabs broke, so when the unit finished a cycle, the switch landed crooked, not making the contacts close to enable restart (so it would do 1 cycle then not start again). I cut off the remaining 2 tabs, then inserted 2 "E" clips to replace the cut off tab stops. I think they were 1/2 inch E clips. Works great. Broken tab
