So I had a spill last night and, shortly after cleaning up, the cooktop started sparking on all 4 burners. I did a little digging and cleaned everything further and went so far as to dry the burner controls with a hairdryer to make sure any extra water that might have seeped down was taken care of.
After doing all of this, the sparking has stopped and 3 out of the 4 burners seem to be working perfectly. Unfortunately, the front right (Power Boil) burner is not. When I turn the corresponding control knob to lite, the igniter does not spark but gas flows as expected. I have confirmed that the front right igniter does, in fact, spark when turning all other control knobs to the lite position.
Given what I’m seeing, are there any ideas what the culprit might be?
Thanks!
