Washer door does not line up with latch. Must slightly lift door ( or slam as my wife does) to latch.
Looking for input before putting tools in hand.
As an aside I have seen so many negatives about this washer/dryer set. Can’t say we agree. Very happy with the units.
I cannot get your model number to come up, and GE does not allow access to its tech info, so I am going to suggest you contact GE and see if they can provide you with some tech manuals to help with your repair.
These front load GE models are great when they work, it’s fixing them that is the problem. Hope yours continues to do well.
I appreciated you looking into this. Thought there would be someone out there that may be able to shed light on proceedure to access door hinge for adjustment. It is not apparent if the hinge is accessed by removing front panels or if thru the rear. Have not had the time to delve into it yet.
I will attack over the holidays and post my findings.
