I have replaced the cup drive 4 times on this refrigerator - the last time i ordered 2 and within one week both cup drives broke into pieces - can you tell me what i am doing wrong - it seems like such a simple install but at $30 a pop this is getting expensive - ice maker is now not able to dispense ice because i have broken part again- before i order another part, any hints on the install to make the new one last??

Are you sure the auger motor, yoke and housing are paralell to the drive cup?
Check and make sure the auger shaft, cubes, or moisture are not freezing in the bottom of the bin.
When you dismantled the bin assembly for the first repair, did you notice any damage to the chopper blades, spacers or housing ?
Also make sure your freezer temperature is not too low( air temperature in the middle of the freezer compartment should be 5 to 7 dgrs. F).
Good Luck,
