GE Side-by-Side stopped cooling

My 9+ year old GE refrigerator (GSS25JEMB BB) stopped cooling last night. I hear a clicking noise coming from the circuit board in back when you plug it in and the fan runs but the compressor doesn’t. A bit of research here led me to check the motherboard first so I did. I jumped connector pins J11 and J8 and the compressor starts running, but not the fan. I presume that is to be expected by jumping.

Is there any reason to check the start relay from the side of the compressor? If so how do I pry it off?

Lastly, the part number for the motherboard I found is AP4436216. Is the board part of a kit, or is there a kit I need if I choose to fix this piece of junk… again? Thanks for any and all help.
