Help. My GE washer (purchased in 2000) will not agitate. It will spin and drain. I’ve recently changed the coupler and that is good.
When the washer fills with water and should begin agitating, instead it will very briefly begin to spin (about 4 seconds) and then nothing. When the timer gets to the drain and spin cycle, it works appropriately.
I just purchased and installed a reconditioned timer. The results are exactly the same.
The wife really wants to do laundry. Help.
