The washer will not spin or agitate.
The door switch apears ok as the washer will fill with water and empty water out.
Any idea to start diagnosing would be appreciated.
Thanks

Cannot locate a fuse in line?
I fond what appears to be a large capictor that says "mallory" on it.
It does not have continuity between the connections?
am i on the right track?
Thanks
There is no in-line fuses in this model.
Does the motor make any noise or it is silent? Remove the belt and check if the motor will run without load. Post the results.

no noise it is silent
I removed the belt and the motor does not run.
thanks for responding
no the motor does not run without the belt
any ideas
Check for the proper power to the motor. The wiring diagram should be inside the control panel. If there is no power then check all wires. If there is nothing wrong then the timer probably is bad.
If there is 120 VAC to the motor then the motor has gone bad.
If you need the correct part numbers then post the complete model number of the washer. There suppose to be three more letters and/or numbers after "T".

any more ideas for me to check before i start throwing parts at it?
