The washer will not fill or spin. It will advance through cycles but we have been filling it manually when it stops when it comes to a fill cycle. Any clue what part(s) need replaced???

It can be the timer, but hopefully it is a less expensive part, the water level switch which may be stuck. Try replacing it
but if that doesn’t fix things then you may be looking at a new control unit.
