My Maytag Gas Range is a sealed burner system . The ignitor doesn’t work at all. When I go to lite any of the top burners I can smell gas but none of the igntors spark or even make that "click" noise that occurs during lighting. I am sure this is a common problem. I need to know what the problems is, the part to be replaced and where it is located. Thanks for any help you can give me.
GenePic,
Most likely the problem is a bad spark module. You can find the complete disassembly instructions in the [AP376124](http://www.servicematters.com/maytag_library/docs/16010161.pdf"]Service manual.
- The part number for the spark module is [URL="http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/ctrfs.aspx?part_id=376124&&model_id=46603&diagram_id=640189)
Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag range http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?diagram_id=640189&&model_id=46603
Gene.
I have a Maytag washer with a oil leak out the bottom of the transmission. I understand the seals are not manufactured any longer. Does anyone have a source for another seal that would work?
If so, how do you install.
The model number of the washer is A407 not A467. Again how to fix leaky transmission.
Steve
I couldn’t find a parts breakdown for this model although it is a good model number. What I need to know is what transmission your washer has on it. Take the front of the washer and describe the transmission to me. It’s going to be one of two styles on this page there is a picture of one style, tell me if your transmission looks like this. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/part_details.aspx?part_id=4319068
The other style transmission will have a flat gear case to the side with a counter-weight on the other side.
