Grandma has clothes to wash, HELP!

Hi there!

I am only guessing at the age of my washer, I bought it used at an estate sale. It has worked great for the 5 years that I have had it until now. It fills and pumps out great but will not agitate or spin. I plan to fix it myself unless it would be more expensive to fix rather than replace. It is hard to find information on models this old. Any suggestions?

It is very likely the coupling has failed, which it does frequently on machines this age. So for about $15.00 and a little time you can fix it yourself. Here is the part and a video on how to replace it.

You can do this yourself, but you will find that it goes a lot better with a helper.
