My Whirlpool GHW9200LQ sounds like it is grinding metal against metal during both spin cycles. It ramps up to speed and has no other issues. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Have a great day…

Probably bad tub bearings if hand turning the spin basket feals rough. Check our warranty, might be covered.
Thank you for your reply… But tub spins freely and I can’t make the same noise by turning or moving tub around manually. 8 years old, she has been a great washing machine…
I would take the back off and check things. If the sound is more like a grouling noise, you may have one of the phases missing/intermittant on the 3 phase motor.
