We have a Maytag Gemini model # MER6769BAW that the entire cooktop has shattered due to cookbooks falling on it. I cook CONSTANTLY (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) which makes me wonder at what point do you just get a new oven??? What is the life span on an oven for someone that cooks constantly? And…would the elements be damaged too due to the crack in the top? Is there a way to check this out?
