Sounds like it is stuck in the 1st setting and the timer will stay on the same number for long periods of time . The machine does fill and the heat is working . Any help would be appreciated.
Check the temperature of the water at the tap. It should be at least 120 degrees. Does this happen in all selected cycles? Here’s a break down of the control panel parts. You may possibly find a bad wiring connection. Also look for any cracks or breaks in the communication ribbon from the touch pad to the control board. Disconnect the ribbon from the board (Unplug the wsher, or turn it off at the breaker, first) and clean the contacts at the end of the ribbon very gently, using a fresh pencil eraser. If all this fails, replace the control board. (Part #11 on the diagram)

thanks I will give that a try
I was just told on top of the other issues mentioned it sounds like an electric leaf blower does that make a difference what would make it sound like that?
The only noise maker should be the motor. I would check the filter and food chopper under the bottom spray arm to see that there is no broken glass, or debris. Those things will tend to make a lot of unusual noises. Some times the pump or motor will growl, if there are obstructions or any other resistance to draining.
