help with a/c central system

my next door neigbor who is has a newer central a/c system ask me as the company couldn’t come out 4 a week too add freon as since the unit was replace has too have the company come out every other year too add freon R-22 they live on the second floor and the first floor has the exact unit even when the unit is running for 24 hr’s it never get colder than 80 degree in the apt i have guages and noticed that the low side instead of being low which word be tipucal of a low freon condition was over 20 lb higher than normal over a bit 80 lb on a 95 degree day and checked the exact unit which was running at the time for the first floor reading 60lb the coil outside looked somewhat dirty and clogged so i gave it a good cleaning then hosed it down waited a good 30 min then turned the unit back on and the system low side was reading the exact 60lb as the first floor unit but then started slowly going higher hitting about 75 with 15 min i left out a small biy of freon thinking that last yr we had a very cool summer and rarely did the outside temp go over 85 let only hitting 100 on many day as it has in the past week and the company charged on a cool day over charging causing the unit too work ok or warmer day but notr or hot day after letting out a small about of freon while the unit was running i got the low side too go down too 68lb but stopped as the discharged temp seem too be getting a bit warmer not cooler never saw a unit low side go high when low on freon and wanted feedback from someone before adding any anyone having any idea would as i would be very greatful thank in advance
