I have a Maytag MGR5765QDQ. The stove top and the broiler work. However, the oven does not come up to any temperature. I think the oven igniter needs to be replaced. I reviewed the diagram for the MGR5765QDQ. It looks to me like the part number for the oven igniter is AP4096758. And it looks like the part number for the broiler igniter is AP4096256. With this oven, the broiler is on the top and the bake is on the bottom.
The problem is that the Appliancepartspro.com rep says that he thinks the part number for the oven igniter is AP4096256. He said that was the item number that came up in their warehouse inventory system. That number does not seem to match up with the diagram. In the Appliancepartspro.com parts list that is underneath the parts diagram on their website, both igniters are identified as oven igniters, but they have different prices (so I imagine that they are not interchangeable). I want to make sure that I order the right part.
Can someone please tell me the part number for the oven igniter (and not the broiler igniter). Thanks!
