Hot Point Refrigerator Water Dispenser not Working

The water dispenser on my hotpoint refrigerator suddenly stopped working. It is still making ice, but nothing happens when I push the lever under the water dispenser–no sound, no water, etc. Does anyone know what might cause this?

Does the ice dispenser (through the door) work?

Does the light on the dispenser dim if you push the release?

Thanks for the reply, Gene! Yes, the ice dispenser still works. No, the light does not dim when I press the release. What does that imply?
