If I have to remove the front panel to do it could someone please tell me exactly what needs to be done to remove all the soap? I realized what I had done and I have NOT run the dishwasher since I did that dumb thing. :o thanks

Probably the fastest way to clear it is to remove the dispenser from the machine, pour out the soap and then rinse it out with warm water.
You will have to do this numerous times, till there is no hint of bubbles when the dispenser is half filled with water and then shaken and emptied.

It does not take much dish soap to cause a huge amount of bubbles.

Alternatively you could use a turkey baster or similar device to suck out the soap. Then fill with water and redo this. Problem is it will take forever to get it cleaned out.

Thanks Denman! The baster thing didn’t work because the needle just didn’t reach the soap, but you gave me the confidence to GO IN & take it apart & clean it out! Thanks again for being the only one to offer me help with something that happens everyday in homes & we are told to purchase & replace the soap/rinse module when that is just not necessary.

When we got home yesterday, the washer had stopped in the final spin cycle with the tub half full of water. The room had a weird smell and when I tried changing the setting on the machine it was totally dead which lead me to believe the motor was fried. However, about an hour later, there was a buzzing sound when I tried turning on the unit on spin cycle again. Is there a circuit protection on the motor to prevent it from over heating? If so, what caused the motor to overheat that would need to be replaced? Thanks.

Your motor does have an overload protection which will shut if off before it burns itself out.

You need to check two things, one is the pump to see that nothing is blocking it from turning and the second is the transmission. See if you can turn the pulley clockwise and counterclockwise.

If the pump is ok and the pulley turns the motor has gone bad. If there is nothing in the pump and the pulley will not turn the transmission is probably shot.
