Wife cracked the black glass cooktop on our almost brand new gas range. I have searched the part from GE (WB61T10140 Maintop ASM-blk). I have seen the newer version of our range and it has a stainless steel cooktop instead of glass. Can anyone tell me if this newer SS cooktop is interchangable with ours? If so, what are the remove and replace steps necessary to swap tops? Thanks Eric Raleigh, NC
