Thank Gene (Senior Expert APP Volunteer) very much for his answer posted on http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/dryer-repair/4743-no-heat-gas-dryer.html on 2008-01-24. I followed the procedure on my Whirlpool Gas Dryer, Model Number LG9501XTN1, for no heat problem. I was lucky the 1st item, fuse (Whirlpool part # 3392519), turned out was broken. So the problem was fixed easily.
Then I turned to another gas dryer no heat problem, GE Model Number DDG7980GCLAD. I found the part list on http://www.**********************************.com/newfindform.php by entering the model number of DDG7980GCL. But after careful review, I could not find the fuse. Is there no fuse on the gas dryer? Or is the fuse not listed on the part list? Or is there other reason for no heat? Please help me. Thank you very much.
