how to get to dacor igniter

I believe the igniter on one of the burners is going bad (it starts sparking when you turn all the way down to about 1/4 flame, not when you first turn it on). But it appears you have to completely disconnect the entire unit (gas, electric, etc) and pull it out, then disassemble the bottom case in order to get to that part of the unit.

Please tell me I’m wrong, and there there is a secret way to get to those igniters.

It sparks when I turn OTHER burners to the "light" position. For this burner though, I have to turn the knob until it is about 1/4 flame (say 3/4 around it’s turn). THEN it stars sparking and the flame ignites. I don’t believe this is an issue with the sparkplug.
