We need instructions on how to replace the glass top on the range. We dropped something on it and it chipped and cracked. From my own research I think the part number from whirlpool is 12001393. Thanks to anyone who can help!
Open the oven door and remove the screws securing the smooth top to the frame. Raise the smooth top slightly and move slightly forward. With the smooth top moved slightly forward, label and disconnect the wire harness. Remove the smooth top and place in a protected area with underside up. Remove the screws securing the elements to the assembly. Label and disconnect the wiring and remove the elements. reassemble in the reversed order.
