How to replace the hidden baking element in oven

Can you provide instructions on how to change the hidden baking element on a Whirlpool Gold oven? Thank you.

Hi,
I too have a Whirlpool Electric Oven and believe the bottom baking element has gone. Any idea how to replace it ? does the side need to come off, or thru the bottom ? or other ?

Usually through the bottom of the oven.
Bottom plates often slide forwards or backwards and then up.
