How to replace touch pad overlay for GE Spectra XL44 stove

I have the replacement part for the touchpad overlay for Ge Spectra XL44 stove (#WB27K100011) however it did not come with instructions on how to replace. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The trick is getting the old one off.
Probably best to remove the control from the unit so you can work on it.
Be sure to mark any wires that may get confused with others or make yourself a diagram.
Take your time and be fairly gentle you do not want to screw up the control panel/board.
Sometimes a little heat from an hair dryer will soften the glue and make it easier ti peel off the existing overlay.
Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol before applying the new overlay.
If isopropyl does nothing try varsol/ mineral spirits.
