When I press the switch on the back of the dispenser for ice, the flap motor works to open the chute, but the auger motor does not come on. I figured it would be an easy fix by replacing the auger motor, but didn’t do any testing of the power at the motor. The new one does not work either. What should I test? Also, I have read that those wires can get pinched at the bottom hinge of the freezer door and that may be the case upon brief inspection. If this is the issue, how to fix? Replace the entire wiring harness? Is there an easier fix?
