After Super Storm Sandy’s power outage, our icemaker was making ice, but the auger motor not turning, not dispensing ice. I removed a cover plate, and the auger motor and discovered it to be completely incased with ice. I unplugged the auger motor from the connector and let the auger motor dry out. The blue connector wire had pulled out of the connector due to corrosion. After the motor was dry, I pushed the wire back into the connector, plugged it to motor, closed the door and the motor worked. To make the wire a permanent connection to the connector, I restripped the blue wire, soldered it into the connector. When I plugged the motor back in to test, the freezer light, and the front display (icemaker display and water dispenser display) was not lit, nor did either dispenser work. Called Danny at your helpline, she gave us different ideas, such as the Refrigerator P.C. Board Kit, AP3137510, the Electronic Control, AP4324821. Need your professional guidance on this repair. Thank you.
