I have a 14 month old Kitchen Aid refridgerator that is freezing food. We’ve isolated the problem to the ice maker. When it is on, the temp drops in the rest of the refridgerator. When we turn the ice maker switch to off, everything works fine. Is there a thermostat part that can be faulty? We also noticed that the plastic on the ice making device that flips the cubes out was out of alignment and not allowing the shaft to turn consistently. It may be un-related. Very poor quality and design for the money.
