I have replaced my main board in an attempt to fix the ice maker and or the freezer bieng to cold. Niether was fixed. I replaced a termistor in the freezer and after some time that seems to have the freezer at the correct temp. between -10 and 0 most of the time.
I also tried the water inlet valve and that did not fix the ice maker.
I took out and returned the board and inlet valve…
I then installed a new Ice Maker. Not only did it not produce any ice it made my freezer operate too warm at like 15- 20 degrees making Ice cream like thick gravy. I am thinking the part was not Genuine GE since it actaully caused problems with the temp.
Anyone have any idea why the Ice maker is not making ice? Are there any other controls or something that may fix it
