Ice shoot flap not opening

I have a GE refrigerator and the ice maker door flap is not opening to let the ice drop down. Everything else works fine. I have removed the solenoid to test it and after applying 120 volts ac it actuated fine so I don’t think that’s the problem. I have also changed the circuit board that the flapper solenoid plugs into and that hasn’t fixed the problem. I assume the micro switch is good because the augar works to push the ice into the door. Any help would be greatly appreciated…
