Icemaker overflows

,

My GE Profile bottom freezer has an IM4A icemaker, it’s been replaced twice because the icemaker doesn’t appear shut off (it doesn’t have the metal arm) and the guardrail (paddle-like arm) then sweeps the ice out of the bucket and onto the freezer floor. I’ve been advised its a design issue, but friends have an identical icemaker and they have had no problems. Any ideas as to how to stop this from happening?

my fridge works good but my freezer works to good [30 below].could this be a freezer thermostat problem ? i deep cleaned it but still have problem.

water dripping from the top near the water inlet connectors. can feel the dripping water falling on my hand when placed in the opening half way down the back of the machine. how do I get into the upper back to see exactly what is leaking when the water lines are turned on?

the leak is not on the hoses at the back but rather must be coming from inside. The drips are coming straight down from where the hoses attach.

Where do I get access to a service manual?
