Icemaker.....Sigh

Hoping for some assistance from this great resource. This is why the internet changes our lives for the better. Thanks in advance.

I love my Kitchen Aid ice maker, but it’s just not itself lately. A couple months ago, it stopped making ice, the bin filled with water, and it overflowed. Luckily my wife was home and it wasn’t too bad. After a lot of research, I came to the conclusion that the water valve could have been the problem, and replaced it. Ice maker was better, made some ice, but there was still way too much water in the bin. So I investigated further, and it seemed like the reservoir drain pump was dripping into the bin. I removed it and the little seal around the top of the impeller looked damaged. So I replaced that pump. Restarted the ice maker, and it was working pretty well for about 3 weeks (although thinking back now the ice was a little wetter than "normal".

I used most of the ice this past Saturday. When I came back home, the bin was filled with ice and mostly water.

So essentially I’m back to square one. Ideas I’ve had based on what I read before would be the recirculation pump, circuit board or refrigerant charge. But I’m not sure how to further diagnose or proceed.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for any advice.
