Igniter not lighting gas, gas in dryer

Not sure what is going on. I may have found the fix but received defective parts. It started with the igniter not lighting the gas but gas was released filling tub and out the vent. I first noticed igniter wasn’t in great shape so replaced it. Checked fuse, temp sensor, and ignitor sensor and all showed good continuity on my gage. Tried starting dryer and same thing happened. Igniter glowed white hot for about 10 sec and shut off followed by a dump of gas into the dryer. At that point I tested solenoids and found one was near max with 1997 resistance. So I bought cheap replacements which might have been my mistake. Installed new solenoids and dryer started and ignited correct one time then returned back to not lighting and dumping gas. Tested new solenoids and found the 3 prong went to open circuit on center pin after flashing a resistance of 1800. My guess is this new solenoid is bad also and ordered OEM solenoids. Am I on the right course with my diagnosis or do you think there may be an issue with the valve itself?
