Install spray arm

The center spray arm has come detached from the back wall of the dishwasher. Is it possible to re-attach or do I have to buy a new one? If so, how can I do that myself? From what I can tell it doesn’t look like it is damaged in any way. The dishwasher is only about 2 years old.

I’m sure you’ve found your answer by now…but I just want to post this for anyone who was just like me 15 minutes ago…hunting for the answer to this question =)

The center sprayer has grooves that "click" onto the coated wire TOP rack…it will then glide in, along with the top rack to sit flush against the big rubber grommet/hole in the back of the dishwasher.

I hope this helps someone =D

I have purchased the grommet, but still am uncertain how it connects to the spray arm. It looks like a portion of the old grommet is still attached to the back wall of the dishwasher and there is just a hole in the center of it where it looks like the one end of the spray arm should attach. I don’t see how the end of the spray arm attaches to the grommet, then to the back of the dishwasher…

adil,

see above thread. the arm doesn’t actually attach to the back wall, but the underside of the top rack. you’ll see horizontal grooves so the spray arm will attach parallel to the bottom of your top rack. the spraying side will be facing up, as to wash the items on the top rack.
