I just ordered the Drain tube freeze up kit (AP4246987). Per the on-line chat session, the kit does not come with instructions. Is the installation made entirely through the freezer section compartment (on top in this model)? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Just wondering if you recieved adequate information to install the kit? I believe I need one as well (after 15 years of operation) and want to make sure I can do the job without tearing the whole thing apart only to discover I need a special tool or stand on my head for 30 minutes. Thanks . I have a TJ18NL and I have considered the possibility that I may already have a freeze drain heater since the system has worked for so long? Any help is appreciated.
My kit did include instructions, not real clear buy adequate. The new freezer block did slide in with some difficulty, it may have been the way I installed the tape. Anyway, time will tell if it works or not. A new problem arose and now the refrigerator maintains a temperature close to 30F, too cold.
