Hi, After a lightning strike my display malfunctioned on my convection oven and also giving me an F-5 code. I replaced the electronic control assembly/clock display. Now the display is working fine but I sstill get the F-5 code. My next step was to replace the relay board. Anyone know anything else I may be able to check on this unit? Thanks!!!
According to the [AP4009009](http://www.servicematters.com/maytag_library/docs/16010312.pdf"]Service manual[/URL] the "F5" error code means "Power element relays disabled in cook mode". The manufacturer recommends to check the oven sensor and its wire harness first. If there is nothing wrong then the relay board has to be replaced.
