Oven set for 400-500 degrees only gets to 300 as indicated by separate thermometer placed in oven. Bake element gets hot (red), digital display shows that temperature setting is reached very quickly, like 15 seconds, and then the bake element goes off, even though oven temperature is still 300. Checked the resistance of the temperature sensor - it is at 1100 at room temperature. Can it still be faulty at higher temperatures, even though it checks out at room temp? Is it worth changing out the temp sensor before anything else? Should I check voltage coming from the relay board first, or is the hot (red) color of the bake element enough to know that the voltage is okay? The two expensive parts on this are the electric control and the relay board, but don’t know which one to go after if it’s not the temp sensor. If it is the control, do I need to buy one with the overlay, or does the overlay come off the original board and reusable? Had F2 code a few times about a year ago, but that is not happening recently. (serial number begins with 20, gas cook top, electric oven)
