Kenmore 665.17034402 Start/Resume light flashes, pauses in cycle full of water.

Clear/Drain switch works properly to drain dishwasher after cycle pauses.

Symptoms are consistently repetitive.

Thanks in advance for any DIY repair advice that’s possible on this unit, or experienced opinion that this unit isn’t likely to last much longer than 7 years anyway. -Ed

This resolved it for me:

> Running the Service Diagnostics clears the control and allows normal operation. If not corrected the control will stop again on the next cycle. Within 6 seconds press Heated Dry>Normal>Heated Dry>Normal. The dishwasher will go through the diagnostic cycle automatically
