Kenmore Dryer

My Kenmore dryer stopped heating up so I thought I would try to fix it before the repair man comes on Monday. I started with taking the back off when all screws were out and the back wouldn’t come off that the I realized the screws I think are holding on the heating element . Then I go from the front and try to remove the tub and I can’t get the 4 middle screws out I am trying to put the thing back together now before the repair man comes but I have to get that tub out now to reconnect the heating element Can someone tell me where to go from here Thanks:eek:

You do not need to remove the four middle screws to remove the tub.
Them four screws hold part of the drum bearing in place to the back of the drum.

Once the front of the dryer is out of the way and the top has been lifted up I disconnect the belt. Then you can pull up on the belt from the top of the drum and use the belt to lift the drum up a inch or two to release it from the socket the the drum bearing sits in. Then move the drum forward and out of the dryer.
