We recently bought the house and the stove was here, so we aren’t sure of age or history of repairs/problems.
Working fine until last week when I went to bake something. All the keypad/digital readout panel worked fine, but the oven just didn’t start heating. Also tried broiler and that didn’t work.
The lock function is off. The clock, timer, read out, gas range – all working fine.
Nevermind. My husband just figured it out. He (unplugged it and then) removed the upper back panel (behind the console). One of the main electrical leads (big fat red wire) into the panel was loose. PLugged it in securely and voila!
