Kenmore Elite Calypso Model 110.22062102 Gives Error Code LD after final drain

I have a kenmore elite calypso HD top loader washer model 110.22062102. My wife try to wash an old bath mat which disintigrated and froze up and fried the pump. I completely flushed out all of the remaining rug parts in the tub, tub lower tank, drain line, and tube-to-pump inner and outer lines. After buying a new pump on 6/1/11 and installing it, the washer worked fine for several loads, but now it won’t go through its final spin. It drains fine but seems to keep trying to drain…or do something. A motor keeps working for several minutes then shut down with an error code ‘Ld’. I reflushed the system and didn’t see any old rug fibers in any line or in the new pump. The pump rotates without any resistance. I ran the diagnostics Key Dance and it ran through the full cycle without incidence. I ran an Express Wash (washer empty) which ran fine until it gets to the final spin then gives same ‘Ld’ error code. I re-ran Express Wash and all it does is fill up, then drain then the motor reacts the same way as above, then shuts down with the ‘Ld’ error code. I have flushed all the lines, so I don’t think there can be any plugs in the lines and I know there are no kinks. Help. What other diagnostic steps do I have?

It sure sounds like there is an obstruction, probably a small one in the lines. It is so small it takes to the rinse cycle to build up enough water to trigger the error message.

First I took the drain hose off and of course it had a big kink in it. The one end looked like it had melted together where no water could pass through to spin & drain.
