Hi, I’m hoping to get some advice on how to proceed. My dryer heats intermittently. I read some posts here and have replaced the gas coils and the ignitor. THis did not fix the problem. I watch the ignitor glow bright orange, then just as it is starting to fade the gas comes on. Sometimes it will ignite, other time it doesn’t. I do smell gas when it fails to fire up. When it does fire up the gas is blue. It takes much longer to dry clothes and the vent hose is only warm to the touch. I did clean out the exhaust hose last year and the dryer connection. I did not take apart the blower assembly as air flow seems good. Does anyone have an idea what the issue could be. Thanks in advance for your help. Joe
