I have a Kenmore Elite double door bottom freezer refrigerator. We replaced the start relay twice and replaced the auto defrost thermostat. after replacing the thermostat the fridge worked great for a week and today it just stopped working. the compressor is making noise like every 10 min or so maybe alittle longer and then stops. we unplugged it and took off the auto defrost thermostat and it still isnt getting cold and the compressor is hot to the touch. i was wondering if that means the compressor is bad and if i should install a 3n1 relay, which i was told by a friend/fridge repair man it is worth a shot.
