Kenmore elite gets intertmittently doesnt stop running?

So recently it’s been will not stop running. This isn’t continuously, but getting more and more frequent.
when this happens, after noticing it didn’t stop overnight or something, we’ll open it, hit the stop button and run it again.

any ideas?
