Hello,
I have a Kenmore Elite refrigerator. Model 795.72053.111
I get the error ER CF on the front display approximately two hours after plugging the refrigerator in and the condenser fan never turns on. My understanding what the code is an error with the condenser fan. The things I’ve done to try to fix it are:
*Unplugged it for a day and plugged it back in. No luck
*Pushed the reset button on the control board. No luck
*Replaced the control board. No luck.
*Replaced the condenser fan with the motor. Still no luck.
Could I have received a bad control board or condenser fan? There are three wires that connect to the fan (purple, red, and white) how can I test to see if I received a bad board or fan?
I don’t know what else to do. Any suggestions?
