Kenmore fridge/freezer only cools and freezes on lower sections

My kenmore fridge/freezer is only cold and only cools on the lower parts of it.
the upper halves are not very cold at all.Cant afford repairman but will a little help I can be very handy. Its only 5-6 years old. please help

Hi.

Check if the evaporator fan motor is running. If not - open the rear panel in the freezer and check if motor gets 120VAC.
If there is correct voltage and motor not running - replace it.
